Michael Crombie
Mr. Crombie is Inter-Rock’s Chief Executive Officer and has been responsible for Inter-Rock’s operations and management since 1999. He organized the financing and rebuilding MIN-AD’s plant and a significant expansion of MIN-AD’s marketing program. He was also responsible for financing and acquiring Mill Creek in 2011 and Papillon in 2016. Prior to Inter-Rock, Mr. Crombie was with Rayrock Resources where he held an operating position at a copper mine in Chile and a corporate development and project evaluation position in Toronto. Before entering the natural resources field, Mr. Crombie worked as an electronics engineer and project manager in Ottawa. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Toronto.
Robert Crombie
Mr. Crombie serves as Inter-Rock’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Crombie is a senior management and finance executive with experience in equity and debt financing, financial analysis and planning, managing legal, banking and auditor relationships and oversight of legal matters, including restructuring and international arbitration. Previously, Mr. Crombie held the position of President of Crystallex International, a gold mining company, with responsibility for managing the day to day business and affairs of the company. During his twelve years at Crystallex, Mr. Crombie also served as Senior Vice President Corporate Development and Vice President Finance. Mr. Crombie was also a Vice President at Dresdner Bank and the Chase Manhattan Bank where he managed their Canadian mining finance initiatives. Early in his career, he held positions with Corona Corporation, including time at two of their mining operations. Mr. Crombie has a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from Penn State University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Queen’s University.
Keith Belingheri
Mr. Belingheri is a Director of Inter-Rock and is the Company’s Vice President, Operations. Mr. Belingheri has held numerous senior engineering, operations management and executive positions during his more than 40 years in the mining industry. He started with Inter-Rock in 2001. During his career, Mr. Belingheri has developed mining operations from exploration through production and managed profitable operating mines, with experience in both both open pit and underground mining. He also has experience with mineral processing, including crushing, grinding, leaching, flotation, and SX-EW circuits. Mr. Belingheri has an outstanding operating safety performance record, including a seven-year safety record with zero lost time accidents. He has also received a number of industry awards in recognition of his accomplishments in environmental stewardship and mine reclamation. Mr. Belingheri’s career includes positions at Kappes, Cassiday & Associates, Glamis Gold Ltd., Rayrock Resources Inc. and Pinson Mining Company (a partnership of Rayrock, Homestake Mining, and Barrick Gold).
David Briggs
Mr. Briggs has been involved in animal agriculture for over 9 years. He started his career at Papillon Agricultural Company (Easton, MD) as a product manager responsible for product positioning and marketing development. Mr. Briggs then spent 3 years as the National Sales and Marketing manager working directly with the 4 regional sales managers and developing product and corporate branding strategies. In June of 2013, Mr. Briggs was promoted to President of Papillon Agricultural Company and is responsible for managing the day to day business of the Company and developing and executing its corporate strategy. Prior to his tenure with Papillon, Mr. Briggs was an associate financial advisor with Legg Mason Wood Walker (Baltimore, MD) and Director of Operations with Arbors Management, Inc. (Pittsburgh, PA). Mr. Briggs has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from Washington College (Chestertown, MD).
